BRAINS. Chapter III: Wild Abras

CHAPTER III
"Wild Abras"

The three boys got into their room. It was big, spacious and bright, it had a bunk bed and another single bed. A door, which lead them to a huge closet divided in three sections with plaques with their names. Next to a big window there were three wooden desks and right next to the door there was a laundry basket.
-Hey guys, check this out!-Reita shouted-this sign says that our cell phones are useless here. I just checked my phone and it doesn't work! What am I gonna do?!
-What?! Do we even have wireless?-Steve asked.
-Noes, we're completely out of contact with the world-Reita answered.
-Look-Andrea pointed three weird objects on one of the desks.-They're like mp3s or tiny phones-he said while holding and studying one of them.
-Here are the instructions. It will only work for calls and text messages between a little web which includes two other cells... Which means: we're only able to get in touch with each other- Reita informed while taking a quick look at the manual.-oh, and we can contact the principal, Madame Étoile or Eustace too.
Andrea and Steve laughed.
-Who would contact them?-Andrea said with a goofy smile.
-I bet a lot of people contact Madame Étoile all the time!-Steve laughed.
The other two laughed hysterically and Andrea gave Steve a noisy high five.
Suddenly they remembered something really important at the same time as if they could read each other's minds.
-I'll get the bed on the top!-Reita said in a rush.
-Damn! Steve complained.
-I'll get the one on the bottom-Andrea said before Steve could get the chance to speak.
Steve dropped his stuff on the single bed, defeated, and laughed.
-It's not fair, guys. You cheating bastards.


The four girls were super excited. Their room looked exactly as the boy's room but with two bunk beds.
-I will die! The next years without internet...oh my-Katryn complained.
-I'm pretty sure we'll have tons of fun together. You won't even remember the internet exists-Erika said.
-You might be right...or not
-Girls shall we?-Amanda asked impatiently.
-What?-Erika asked.
-Let's put our clothes in this amazing closet.
-Sure!
Saeko got into the closet with her skirts, Erika, Katryn and Amanda turned their backs to get their clothes. When they turned again Saeko was gone.
-Saeko? - Erika murmured confused.
Katryn got into the closet.
-No way, this can't be real-she whispered.-She was right here, how'd she disappear like that?
She stepped on a tile and suddenly a flash involved the three girls.
-What's happening?!-Erika screamed.


-Did you hear that?-Steve said with a worried look.
-It comes from the closet-Reita affirmed-open it
-Ha, me? No way.
-Coward bitches-Andrea murmured while opening the closet.
-What the hell?!-Reita shouted.
Erika, Amanda, Katryn and Saeko looked as surprised as the three boys.
-When did you hide here?-Reita asked.
-W-we...just now we were in our closet putting our clothes on the shelves-Saeko said.
Erika gasped.
-The floor. There was this weird tile- she tried to explain.
-You know what? There's no logical explanation for what just happened so, come on everybody, let's get into the closet-Katryn ordered.
The seven teenagers locked themselves into the closet, Katryn stepped on the tile and the strong flash appeared again.
-So...we just took a picture or...?-Steve asked with a funny expression.
-Shhh! Open the door now.-Amanda said.
Steve obeyed.
-No way!-he shouted-this is like a teleport chamber or something, I feel like a wild Abra!
Saeko laughed and slapped his forehead.
-Whoa, now we're back in our room-Erika said amazed.
-It is pretty weird. I don't understand why are you all so amazed/excited-Andy said.
-Shut up, this shit is so cool-Saeko replied.
-Guys, guys! Sorry for interrupting the party but it's seven o'clock, dinner time- Reita informed.
-I hope the food is nice in this school-Erika said-and not like in my old one!
